Last year, I fell in love with the beauty and simplicity of the Scandinavian inspired Wheat designs. We have collaborated with them a few times over the past year at the launch of The Monarch Mag when they showcased their 2014 line at our party and in the Spring when we co-hosted a pop up for them.
Wheat Canada is based in Alberta and has brought the Danish line to Canada in the form of an online boutique. Aaron and Kat, the founders, were frustrated when dressing their little girl. They found little girls’ clothes are often designed to help make them look ‘trendy’ and beyond their years. Aaron and Kat wanted to find something that was “seemingly dreamy – the epitome of comfort and classic, yet still practical and stylish”.
The clothes are high in quality and super affordable in price so it’s truly a win win. My favourite pieces from the line include: The outerwear, the underwear sets (they double as the perfect summer pjs’s), the dresses & cardigans for girls and the little boys basics.
